Mold remediation is a process that is used to not only kill mold, but to remove the dead mold spores in a manner that prevents fungi and dust contaminated with the fungi from cross-contaminating other areas outside the work area. Thick sheets of flexible plastic sheeting, duct tape and other fasteners should also be used to seal the area off and act as a partition from the area. The flexible plastic sheeting make a good temporary partition since it can be completely disposed of upon completion.
